HERRING, Silas W. Dec 1, 1851 - May 24, 1939 Nannie A. His Wife June 25, 1856 June 19, 1941. Silas W. Herring was a son of William Jerrod Herring and Rebecca Ann Knight. He was a grandson of John Herring and Lucy Carver. He was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. He married Nannie A. Mirts on November 7, 1878 in Callaway Co., Missouri. She was a daughter of Isaac Mirts and Lydia Sayder.
