Grover Herring, b: Dec. 11, 1884, Callaway Co., Missouri, d: July 1967, Melbourne, Brevard Co., Missouri. Grover Herring was a son of George Washington Herring Jr. and Josima McNerva Allen, grandson of George Washington Herring Sr. and Lucy Simco, and, John Karah Allen and Mary L. Walker. Grover was in construction and was instrumental in the building of Melbourne, Florida from the late 1920s. In 1908 he married Rose Baysinger, b: May 20, 1887, Callaway Co., Missouri, d: Nov. 1968, Melbourne, Brevard Co., Florida. Rose was a daughter of Thomas C. Baysinger and Virginia Holmes, a granddaughter of George W. Baysinger and Lucy J. Stokes, and, William Holmes and Elizabeth unknown. Grover Herring was my granduncle.
