Notes |
- Aunt Rose's parents were divorced between 1887 and 1900. Since Rose was born in 1887, she was pretty young when they divorced. Her mother got custody of the three children. Her mother married again in 1903. By 1914, Rose had married Uncle Grover and they were living in Kansas City.
Rose was still living at home on the 1910 census. Her brother Martin, and her mother Virginia, were living all living together with a step father listed, Millard Debo. On the 1900 census, there was no husband in the house.
In 1914, she signed her mother's death certificate and gave her address as Kansas City.
I remember Aunt Rose, she was a very tiny woman. We went to Florida a couple of times in the 1960's to visit them.
