Mary Smith Carter Beavers Headstone Photo, Sunrise Christian Cemetery

Our Mother, Mary Beavers, Died Nov. 4, 1876, Aged about 79 years. Mary Polly Smith was born about 1800 in Virginia. On Sept. 30, 1819 in Green Co., Kentucky, she married Robert P. Carter. They were my 3rd great grandparents. After his death in 1831, she married Barnett Beavers on Feb. 7, 1833 in Green Co., Kentucky. Between 1840 and 1850, she came with her children to Missouri and lived in both Audrain and Callaway counties. Large Carter headstone with names engraved on three sides.
