J. C. Dunavant, Born in Campbell Va. Dec 27, 1836 - Died Aug 6, 1908. Melissa R. Nevins, his wife, Born in Callaway Co. Mo. Jan 10, 1842 - Jan 27, 1914. Gone but not forgotten. Josephus C. Dunavant was a son of Josephus Dunavant and Jane Moore. On March 1, 1864 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Melissa R. Nevins. She was a daughter of Thomas Nevins and Catherine Randolph.
