Albartus Brooks, Oct. 25, 1851 - Nov. 6, 1917. Julia A. Brooks, his wife, July 4, 1851. Albartus Brooks was a son of James Brooks Jr. and Elizabeth Ford. He was a grandson of James Brooks Sr. and Elizabeth Holt, and was my 2nd cousin 4 times removed. On May 18, 1882 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Julia Ann Holt. She was a daughter of William Price Holt and Mary Blythe, a granddaughter of Abner Holt Sr. and Elizabeth Brooks, and, John T. Blythe and Sarah Carter. She was my 2nd cousin 4 times removed.
