Chandos Martin, June 22, 1889 - Sept. 18, 1938. Ruth Martin, May 10, 1892 - July 25, 1966. Chandos B. Martin was a son of John Clarence Martin, Sr. and Celia S. Benson. He was a grandson of Vinson Benson and Martha Sarah Allen, and, James W. Martin and Martha D. Everhart. He was my 3rd cousin twice removed. In December of 1916, he married Ruth Tate. Her parents were Jessie Taylor Tate and Mary Matilda Crockett.
