NOTE: Uriah's wife Mary Jones' will was written December 11, 1806 and was recorded in the January Court 1807, on this same page, above Uriah's will. It appears that Uriah died before Mary and that he was not aware of her impending death. Mary's father, James Rennick, wrote his will on Jan. 3, 1807, and in it he referred to daughter Mary Jones as deceased.
The inventory and the sale of the estate are recorded in Harrison County February Court 1807, on pages, 72 and 73. The estate appraised for $429.91 and total sales were $448.87. It was noted that one Negro boy, 9 years old, was to serve 16 years and Esther, a Negro woman was to serve 2 years. Robert Stephenson and Moses McIlvain were executors. Att. W, Moore C.H.C
