      Deceased Name: Mr. Robert Bland Kemp Jr.
      75, of Charlotte, North Carolina, died March 14, 1996, at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews.

      A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Kemp will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 1996, at McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel, with The Reverend Jessie Bentley officiating. Committal will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at McEwen Pineville Chapel.

      Mr. Kemp was born March 13, 1921, in Fulton, Missouri, to the late Robert Bland Kemp Sr. and Virginia Dawson Kemp. He spent most of his young life in Columbia, Missouri. He owned and operated Bob Kemp Plumbing and Repair Service for more than 30 years in Charlotte and was a former member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

      Mr. Kemp is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mrs. Marion Kemp of Charlotte; a loving daughter, Linda Harrison and her husband, Charlie, of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Charles Everette Harrison Jr. and Shana Lynn Harrison; brother, Charles Kemp of San Diego, CA; sister, Wilma McCanne of Dexter, MO; sister, Frances Simmons of St. Louis, MO; and brother, Paul Kemp of Columbia, MO. Mr. Kemp was preceded in death by a son, Bland Kemp, in 1991.

      Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Cancer Center, 200 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, North Carolina 28204 or to the American Heart Association, 1300 Baxter Street, Suite 101, Charlotte, North Carolina 28204.

      McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel, is serving the family of Mr. Kemp.
