    • Warren Stevenson, 67 of Deep River, Iowa, died Friday, September 22, 1995 at the Montezuma Senior Home. Warren was born on Feb.17 1928, at Deep River, Iowa, graduated from Deep River High School in 1945, and briefly attended Iowa State University. He married Bettylu Stevenson on Sept.24, 1947 and farmed near Deep River until his retirement. Warren was a lifelong member of Lafayette Lodge #52 AF & AM, where he was a 32nd degree mason. He was always active in church and community affairs, serving as Sunday School teacher and parish council chair in the Methodist Church and later the United church of Deep River, and as a school board member and little league coach for many years. Survivors include his son, David and daughter-in-law, Susan of Deep River, their children, Sara and Amy; his daughter, Susan Stevenson of Providence, Rhode Island, and her children, Stevenson and Abigail Waite; and cousin, Susan Wilks Cohen of Boston , MA. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Bettylu, and parents Leamond and Eola Stevenson.
