  From the History of Callaway county, 1984 book: Augusta graduated from William Woods College, married Richard Pendelton Brous of Kansas City, Missouri, and had one son, Thomas Richard Brous, born in 1943. Thomas R. Brous married Patricia Catlin Brous of Kansas City and is the father of two children, Anna C. Brous and Joel P. Brous. Both Richard P. and Thomas R. graduated from Michigan University Law School and practice law in Kansas City, Missouri.
