1840 land patent, Benjamin Hill, Callaway Co., Missouri, 40 acres. He was my 3rd great granduncle.

Notes	This Benjamin Hill may or may not be a son of Charles and Molly Hill. This is speculation at this point. Here's why I think this; 1. age is correct for an unknown brother who's on the 1810 Albemarle census CHARLES HILL - Albemarle County, VA - 1810 Federal Census 1. 1 Male(s) under age 10, born abt 1800-1810 unknown (Benjamin????) 2. 1 Male(s) age 10-16, born abt 1794-1800 Morgan 3. 1 Male(s) age 26-45, born abt 1765-1784 husband Charles 4. 3 Female(s) under age 10, born abt 1800-1810 Nancy, unknown, unknown 5. 1 Female(s) age 10-16, born abt 1794-1800 Mariah 6. 1 Female(s) age 26-45, born abt 1765-1784 wife Molly 2. Brothers Morgan Hill and Charles Hill (youngest son not on 1810) also came to Callaway Co., and of course sister, Mariah and the Herrings and Simco's all came about the same time. So there is a family pattern. 3. In 1840, Benjamin Hill is 30 under 40, which makes him born between 1800 and 1810, fits with the 1810 census. He was actually born in 1805. He lives near other verified Hill family members. In 1840, he bought land in Callaway county, Missouri. I found Benjamin and family in Audrain Co. in 1850 and 1860. I am positive this is the same Benjamin that was in Callaway in 1840, the children all fit.
