  	Ewing Departed this life at his residence in this city, May 14, 1876, of Drupsy of the Heart. Mr. Wm. L. Ewing, in the 56th year of his age. Deceased was born April 17, 1822. United with the Christian Church, under the preaching of Elder A. Rice, in 1839, and in all the varied relations of life, discharged his duty faithfully. He was twice married, first to Miss Lucy A. Maupin, by whom he had five children. He was married a second time to Miss Georgia Ann Herring, on April 19th 1860. He expressed an entire resignation to the Will of his Savior, and died in the blessed hope of a better life. May God bless his bereaved widow and children.
