    • Richard A. "Dick" Gooldy, 75, Junction City, died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at a Junction City hospital.

      Jan Kimbrell of rural Chapman is a daughter.

      He was born July 2, 1925, in Tulsa, Okla., the son of P.H. "Jack" and Faye (Christensen) Gooldy. He graduated from Independence High School in 1943 and attended Independence Junior College. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

      Funeral services were today, March 20, at Johnson Funeral Chapel Junction City. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Junction City.

      Memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Kansas Parkinson's Association, Box 251, Topeka, KS 66601; or Shriners Burn Centers, sent in care of Isis Shrine, Box 2778, Salina, KS 67402.
