Notes	On June 4, 1880 when the census was taken, she was 5 months old. She is not on 1900 census, her mother is listed as 4 children born 4 living. She may have died very young and her mother just didn't tell the census taker about her. But... this could actually be Sallie instead. On the 1900 census, Sallie is listed as being born in Dec. 1879, which would be consistant with Effie's birth date. But, on Sallie's headstone the birth year is Dec. 1880. On her death certificate, the birth year is Dec. 1879. There is data to both prove and disprove that Effie M. is the same person as Sallie T. I'm leaving both of them in the index because I really don't know. I'm not sure why they would have changed her name between one census and the next but I have seen some very wrong info on census forms.
