    • Zona C. Craghead, nee Semmler, 85, of Glen Carbon, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born March 23, 1924, in California, Mo., died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
      Mrs. Craghead was retired from First United Methodist Church in Collinsville after 17 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dorcas Circle at church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Craghead; parents, William and Zona, nee Kern, Semmler; a brother, Jimmy Chaney; and a sister, Mabel Carr.
      Surviving are her three daughters, Julie (Bill) Jones of Alpharetta, Ga., Lynn (Robert) Geiler of Florissant, Mo., and Lee (Bill) Curtis of Maryville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
      Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Collinsville, Ill.
      Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.
      Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Rev. Mark Horn officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
