    • Miss Mary Ratekin, daughter of former County Treasurer James W. Ratekin, died this week at the home of her sister in Fulton. She had been in ill health for about a year. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Fulton and burial took place in Hillcrest cemetery. Miss Ratekin was born on a farm in the Ham's Prairie community, and lived in that part of the county for a number of years. She received an extensive education in Missouri and Oklahoma and had taught in Callaway county and Oklahoma for the last 23 years. She is survived by her father and three sisters, all of Fulton.
