They were living at the poor farm.
She died in the State Hospital, they had no records of her actual birth date or parents names. The place of burial is only listed as Kirksville, Missouri. They did list her husband as Ben Cason. She was a widow at the time of her death. I believe Kirksville was one of the places the State Hospital sent unclaimed bodys for science. Her name was listed as Lucinda instead of Malinda, but the State Hospital quite often did not keep accurate records.
