    • From a post on Rootsweb, I cannot verify it is correct:
      Matilda S. "Letta" Overton who married Russell Roberts 7 Jun 1860 in Lewis Co Mo. This family appear on the 1860 Lewis Co MO census and according to the census, Russell Roberts was born ca 1834 in MO. Russell and Letta Roberts were the parents of at least one child, Mary D.Roberts born 1861 in Lewis Co. Then this family also disappears.
      In 1880, Mary D Roberts appears on a census in Dallas Co TX, living with her aunt and uncle Sarah E. Overton Givens & George Wm. Givens. Dudley W. Overton and his wife are also living with the Givens family. Both Dudley and his wife died in Dallas Co TX and are buried there. Most of their family can be found in Dallas Co Tx during that time period.
      Mary Roberts was mentioned in Dudley Overton's will and was to receive the portion that would have gone to her mother. I can only assume that Mary Roberts parents died before 1880.
