    Robert Dean Clatterbuck, quarterback for New York Giants in 1950's. He was my 5th cousin once removed.

    • Bobby was a professional football player. He played Quarterback for San Angelo High School then for Angelo State and the University of Houston.

      He was drafted on the 27th round in 1954 out of Houston to the New York Giants. At the time of the draft he was 6' 3" and 195 lbs. He played for 4 seasons throwing 1032 yards and 18 Touchdowns in 18 games. He was backup to Charlie Connerly in 1956 when the New York Giants won the NFL championship game. His teammates included Hall of famers Frank Gifford, Sam Huff and Roosevelt Brown. The coaching staff included Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry. In 1960 he played for the Los Angeles Chargers, where he played back up quarterback to Jack Kemp.

      He married July Kyle on July 14, 1951 in Abilene, Texas. They had three children
