I James Rennick of woodford County and State of Kentucky calling to mind the certainty of Death of and uncertainty of life do make constitute and appoint this my last will and testament revoking any other will or wills heretofore made First as to what mortaly estate I possess I dispose of in the following manner that is to say I lend unto my beloved wife Mary Rennick the tract of land whereon I live containing one hundred acres likewise all my stock of every description also all my household furniture during her natural life Secondly my will and desire is that my two daughters Lyddia Rennick and Margaret Rennick shall peacaby possess said plantation stock and furniture and in common with their mother as long as they continue single or unmarried and if said daughter remain single or unmarried after my wifes decease my will and desire is they shall still peacably possess said land with all its appertainances as likewise the stock and house hold furniture during their natural life and if said daughters should marry my will and desire is that each daughter may have one third part of the stock and household furniture to her and her heirs forever and after my wifes decease said two Daughters is to possess all the stock and household furniture that my wife is in possession of at her death. Thirdly my will and desire is at the death of my wife Mary Rennick if my two Daughters Lyddia Rennick and Margaret Rennick should be married

my desire is said land to be sold and the money arising from the said sale of said land to be equally divided into four parts each of my three Daughters now living name Sarah Sutton Lyddia Rennick & Margaret Rennick to possess one fourth part of said money arising from the sale of said land and my daughter Mary Jones deceased her children now living to possess the other 4th part of said money but if the above two Daughters Lyddia and Margaret Rennick should remain single or unmarried my will and desire is said Daughters to have peacable [queet] possession of the above said one hundred acres of land with all its appertainances thereinto belonging during their natural life and at their death the above said Legacy to be divided as above and to be peacably possessed and bequeathed to whom said legatees may think proper to leave the same to. Lastly I appoint my Friend and neighbor Mr. John Williams Executor to this my last will and testament likewise my two Daughters Executrixes to the above L. Testament Given under my hand 3rd day of January 1807

This the last will and testament of James Rennick deceased was produced in court and proven by the oaths of Germain Bohannan and Elliott Bohannan Jr and ordered to record whereupon John Williams the executor therein named & Lyddia Rennick and Margaret Rennick
DAR Patriot Index has James Rennick, b. 1748 VA d. 1807 KY, m Mary ___ Pvt VA. There is a James Rennick in the 1800 tax roles of Woodford Co., Kentucky. James Renick is still in Woodford Co. in 1810 and died before his will was proven Oct. 1812.
