    Marriage:
    • Double Wedding at Millersburg
The staid old village of Millersburg was the scene of much matrimony on last Sabbath. Just after the morning services at the Christian church were over, the paster, Rev. Egan Heerndon, was called upon to officiate at a double wedding and according to the wishes of the parties concerned, the knots were tied under the big, blue canopy of heaven. He married Noah Wilkerson and Miss Emma Thomasson, and Charles Herring and Miss Myrtle Davis, the contracting parties being seated in their buggies during the ceremony, which took plase in front of the post office.
