The marriage of Miss Helen Dunavant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dunavant, of Fulton, to Raymond Mattox, son of Mrs. Anna Mattox, of St. Louis, was solemnized on Sunday, July 24, at 2 p.m. at the home of the bride's parents, of West Fifth street.
The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. H.H. Snider. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers and asparagus ferns. The strains of the Mendelssohn wedding march were played by the bride's music teacher, Mrs. W.F. Cave. The bride wore a beautiful gown of white satin crepe and carried a bouquet of white roses and guysophila.
The wedding was attended by a number of relatives of the bride and groom. The bride was educated at the Fulton high school. Mr. Mattox is connected with the Layne Construction company of St. Louis.
After the refreshments were served Mr. and Mrs. Mattox motored to St. Louis where they will make their future home. The young couple received many beautiful wedding gifts. The many friends in this city wish them a married life of much happiness.
