9154 Fall Caused Death.
Mrs. Mary Farmer, aged 78 years, widow of W.O. Farmer, who died forty years ago, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Boyer, southeast of New Bloomfield, Sunday, from the effects of a fall down a stairway about three weeks ago. The fall resulted in paralysis.
Funeral services were conducted at Rocky Branch church, seven miles southwest of New Bloomfield, and burial was in the Farmer family burying ground, near that place.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Boyer, and two sons, James and John Farmer, both of Mokane. She was a member of the New Bloomfield Christian church.

9155 Another report says she was born around 1776 - don't think so Mary Saunders Or Sanders

9156 Mary probably died after giving birth to Truman, Jr. in 1810 - she is dead when her father dies-a woman of her age is not listed on the 1810 census with Truman, Sr. and he married Catherine Williams in 1811.
Article said she died before April 13, 1812 when her father died.

I don't know which one of her brothers that Gertie belongs to, but I suspect she is a grand niece instead of a niece. I'm adding her to this family however, because I know she does belong to one of the brother's of Mary Jane, or is a granddaughter of one of the brothers, and I do not want to leave her out of my index.

There are a few errors on his death certificate, says place of birth was W. Virginia. mother's maiden name is spelled wrong but phonetically right, place of burial is Turner burying ground. I believe he probably is in Farmer cemetery with his wives. He is not on an old listing of Farmer cemetery. I have found Farmer cemetery refered to as Rufus Farmer cemetery. It does not make sense that he is buried somewhere else.
