8606	From the History of Callaway County Missouri, published in 1884, which is not always accurate: Francis Reno was born in France, but came to America after he was grown, and settled in Prince William county, Virginia, where he married a Miss Bayliss. Their children were Enoch, Frank, George, Bayliss, Millie, Fanny, Dollie, Jane and Lydia. Bayliss married Jane Davis, and settled in Fleming county, Kentucky, in 1811. They had Richard D., Matilda, Henry F. and Elizabeth. Mr. Reno settled in Callaway county in 1831. Richard D. was married twice, first to Marv Summers, and second to Jane H. Davis. He located in Callaway county in 1826. Matilda married James R. Chalpant, who came to the county in 1829. Henry F. married Sarah Alexander, and moved to the county in 1829. He served as judge of the county court several terms. Elizabeth married Felix G. Nichols, who emigrated to the county in 1824. 8618	Died in Fulton Friday Noon Mrs. Bettie Ann Wilkerson, Daughter of Callaway Pioneer, Succumbed To Paralytic Stroke. Mrs. Bettie Ann Wilkerson, 77 years old, widow of the late Thomas H. Wilkerson, of Carrington, died of paralysis Friday at 12:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma J. Baker, in East Tenth street, this city. She had been ill six months, but her condition did not become serious until Monday, when it was realized that she could not recover. Funeral services were held at Carrington Baptist church, of which she was a charter member, Sunday morning at 11:00 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. J.M. Turnage. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wilkerson was a daughter of Richard Renoe, a pioneer who settled near Carrington. She was born on the family homestead April 18, 1842, and was married to Mr. Wilkerson March 8, 1862. They lived on their Callaway farm until Mr. Wilkerson's death, June 3, 1919, and after that time she lived with her children. Besides Mrs. Baker, she leaves one other daughter, Mrs. John H. York, of Las Vegas, N.M., and one son, Otho M. Wilkerson, a farmer residing at Carrington. Three sisters also are living, namely; Mrs. Matilda Dunavant, Fulton; Mrs,. Nettie Ficklin, west of Fulton; and Mrs. Ila Hancock, Millersburg. Mrs. Wilkerson lived a life of great usefulness. She was an old-time wife and mother, giving largely of her life to her family. Her church and neighbors however, shared in her affections, and received much attention from her. Round Prairie township has had few women who possessed so many virtues and there, among the old neighbors and friends, she will be greatly missed. 8648	She gave the information for her twin brother, Paul's death certificate in Oct. 1938. She lived in Jefferson City, Missouri at that time, her last name was Renoe. She married E.E. McDaniel after 1938, haven't found a record, but in 1953 she signed her father's death certificate as Mrs. E.E. McDaniel, living in Florescent Missouri.	Pauline Renoe
8649	Mrs. B.F. Sheley Dead Mrs. Ann Priscilla Sheley, wife of Ben F. Sheley, living a mile and a quarter west of Guthrie, died late last Thursday afternoon of bronchial trouble. Funeral services were conducted Friday by Reverand Potete, of Moberly and burial was at Guthrie. Mrs. Sheley was a daughter of the late Benjamin Renoe, an old-time Callaway settler, and was born in this county in 1839. She was married to Mr. Sheley in 1862. The husband and five children, namely: Mrs. T.N. Howe, Mrs. R.R. Carrington, W.M. Sheley and B.D. Sheley, all of this county, and Alex Sheley, of Montana, survive her. She leaves two brothers Benjamin and James Renoe, both of this county. Mrs. Sheley was a member of Old Log Providence Cumberland Presbyterian church and was truly a faithful and consistent Christian. Those who knew her esteemed her for kindly, womenly virtues, and loved her for her sincerity and goodness. The comunity in which she lived is poorer because of her death, and her family has lost a devoted, self-sacrificing wife and mother. The Gazette extends sympathy.	Priscilla Ann Renoe
