Pasley, aged 52 years, died at Wesley Hospital, Kansas City, Thursday, March 4, 1909, after a lingering illness with anemia and was buried at the Pasley graveyard in Toledo neighborhood, last Saturday. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. M.F. Pasley, two sisters, Mrs. George Craghead of Auxvasse, and Mrs. S.S. Brooks, of Claude, Tex., and two brothers, Earl Pasley, and J.D. Pasley, of this county. Mr. Pasley was a native of this county, but had made his home at Independence, Mo., for some time previous to his removal to the hospital. 8229	Evelyn Grace Hunt, 89 of Vandalia, formerly of Auxvasse, died at 10:40 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Tri-County Care Center. Evelyn was born July 24, 1919 in Callaway County, the daughter of Euel Tate and Gertrude Pasley. She married Lee Hunt in 1938. He preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1986. Evelyn was an Auxvasse resident until 1994. Survivors include two sons, Dale Lee Hunt and wife, Judy, and Bobbie Wayne Hunt and partner, Sue Lucas, all of Mexico; her grandchildren, Marty Hunt and wife, Kelly, and children, Molly and Katey of Jefferson City, Patti Bell and child, Baillee of Prescott, AZ, Merri Lea Marshall and husband, Bruce, and children Heather and Cory of Lees Summit, Jimmy Wayne Hunt and wife, Shelly, and children, Tanna, Cheyenne and Cassidy of Mexico, Lori Harlan and husband, Aaron and children, Josh, Caleb and Noah of Mexico, Robin Gearhart and husband, Philip of Dewy, AZ, Aaron Hunt and son, Ethan, of Riverside, Ca.; three nephews, Gary and Rex Pasley and Dana Moss; two nieces, Deana Kay Chavez and Pat Brandis; and one cousin, Marcelle Hickman. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Euel Tate Pasley and wife, Neva; one sister, Nadene Pasley Moss and husband, Taylor; and one niece, Karen Chavez and husband, Mac. Evelyn attended the Methodist Church in Auxvasse. She was employed at the Auxvasse Drug Store for several years. She became an LPN, worked at Audrain Medical Center and retired from the Columbia Orthopedic Group in 1981. After retirement, she worked as a hostess at Gasper's Restaurant in Kingdom City. Evelyn loved needlework, dancing and taking walks with her dog, Zeba and her dear friend, Louise Wilburn. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. And most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Evelyn G. 8238	Jewell M. Bratton, 86, Fulton, died Jan. 14, 2003, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Toledo, a daughter of Clarence F. and Bernice Jennings Pasley. She was married June 16, 1943, in Linn, to Louis A. Bratton, who died Nov. 12, 2002. She worked as a dining room supervisor for the Fulton State Hospital. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and Gideons Women's Auxiliary. Survivors include: one daughter, Connie Adams, Columbia; and two grandchildren. One grandson preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Southside Baptist Church, Fulton. The Rev. Ron Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. today at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Memorials are suggested to The Gideons International and the Alzheimer Association.	Jewell M. Pasley

Pasley 26 Sept 1888 F224 There is a Pasley family cemetery in Callaway county, exact location unknown, that lists her burial, however it does not give her date of death. Her husband who died just months before her, is buried in Hillcrest. Her death certificate says she was also buried in Hillcrest. She died at 4936 Laclede Ave., St. Louis, Missouri. I assume she was living with one of her children at the time of her death, or this was the address of a hospital, no hospital is listed tho. Daughter Alta Marcille of Fulton gave the information for her death certificate. There was another son, Vernice Brooks (not listed), who lived in Locksburg, Ark. in 1971, probably born after 1900. He was mentioned in his sister Audrey's obituary, but I cannot find this family on the 1910 census to verify the name or date of birth. Named as a surviving sister in her brother A.S. 8243	Death From Heart Trouble Mrs. George W. Herring Died at House of Her Parents in Williamsburg - Burial Sunday. Mrs. George W. Herring, 33 years old, died Saturday morning at 7:30 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.P. Pasley, in Williamsburg, after an illness of six weeks with heart trouble. Her home was in Wellsville, but she had been with her parents for a week. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Williamsburg Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. A.M. McLaughlin, of the Presbyterian church, of which she was a member. Burial was in the Williamsburg cemetery. Mrs. Herring was born near Bachelor June 4, 1892, and was reared in Williamsburg, where she spent all of her life with the exception of the last two years, when she lived in Wellsville. Her maiden name was Mary Florence Pasley. She was married October 7, 1912, to George W. Herring, who survives as do two children, Mildred Louise, 9 years old, and Russell Pasley, 6 years old. One brother, William Pasley, of Williamsburg, is also living. Mrs. Herring was a most estimable young woman and her death is a cause for much sorrow. She had many friends in this county who will regret to hear of her passing. Much sympathy is extended to all those who are bereaved.	Mary Florence Pasley
