CRISWELL CEMETERY- also know as Graveyard Hill Cemetery- located in the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of section 7 township 46 north range 10 west. 1.7 miles north of Guthrie on Rte J. This is a combination of old recording and another recording done in 1972. In 1972, the conditionof the stones made much of the information dubtful or unreadable. Five stones were unreadable and at least that many were marked with rugh stones or unmarked.
A builing used both as a school and a church once stood to the east in the flat along the Creek. A County road may have also been at the foot of the hill.

A headstone in Dry Fork cemetery:
Joseph Taylor Nevins, Nov. 10, 1880 - Nov. 30, 1979. Anna Leach Nevins, July 24, 1882 - Nov. 5, 1976.
Cathy Clatterbuck has that this is Joseph, son of Lockwood and Phoebe Nevins, but the dates are off. This Joseph had a brother born in 1880. Unless the headstone is totally wrong as to month and year of birth, I don't think it is the right Joseph Nevins. I have a picture of the headstone on my cemetery page, but have not connected it to this person yet. | Joseph Nevins
