T.T. Mosley, of Dixie, Took Three Kinds of Posion.
T.T. Mosley, aged 56 years, a farmer living two miles east of Dixie, committed suicide last Sunday by taking arsenic, "rough on rats", and strychnine. Family troubles were the cause of the act.
Mosley quarreled with his wife early in the morning and she prepared to leave him, intending to go to the home of her father, Nick Craghead. The quarrel is said to have arisen over a discussion of Mosley's dislike of his father-in-law.
Neighbors were summoned before Mosley took the poison and when he delared his intention of taking poison they laughed at him. Shortly afterward he took a dose of arseni, and followed it up with doses of rough on rats and strychnine.
Dr. C.H. Christain, of New Bloomfield, was called but could do nothing to save Mosley's life and he died about 1:00 o'clock Monday morning. Burial was at Liberty churchyard Monday afternoon.
Besides his wife, Mosley leaves a young daughter and a number of relatives in the county. He was a son of Stephen Mosley. | Travis T. Mosley
