McClanahan last Saturday at the home of his son, Samuel S. McClanahan, northeast of Fulton. All of his children and grandchildren were in attendance, each family bringing a portion of the dinner, and the day was spent most pleasantly. The children present were Mrs. B.B. Kimbrell, Mrs. A.H. Miller, J. Polk McClanahan and S.S. McClanahan. The wives and husbands of the children and their ten children were present. She was born in Tebbetts, Missouri on June 30, 1913, a daughter of the late John Dorris McCleery and Fannie Elizabeth Bell McCleery. On September 20, 1933, she was united in Marriage to Cecil C. Witcher. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1994. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remmbered by two daughters, Mary Sue Fletcher and her husband, Wayne, of Fulton and Frances Jean Lee and her husband, Connie, of Fulton, Missouri, four grandchildren, Brent Fletcher, Janet Stiefermann, Vicky Wilkes, and Mark Lee, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchld, numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, one brother, Earl McCleery and one sister, Opal Morts, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Gladys was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewng, cooking, quilting. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with Reverend Ron Baker officiating. 7346	Lois Jean Musbach (nee McClellan), 90, of Fulton died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the Presbyterian Manor. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Poirier and Mary Gray, and one son, Blair Musbach; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jean Musbach was born of Alfred T. and Merle H. McClellan on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1921, in Fulton, Missouri. She attended Fulton High School where she met her future husband, Ralph Arthur Musbach. After graduating from high school, she attended William Woods College and graduated in 1941. On March 27, 1945, she married Ralph Musbach at the First Christian Church in Fulton. Ralph predeceased her in 2007 after 62 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fulton, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on the 6th day of July, at Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street in Fulton, Missouri. All arrangements under the direction of Debo Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on the 7th day of July at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.	Lois Jean McClellan

7348	Confusing bit of information, in John's obituary, it gives a surviving son named Tom. There is no record of this son on any census. He is not on 1900, he would have been born after 1900 but before 1904. He is not on 1910. Maggie's obituary says she leaves 6 children, a son named Tom would make the 6th child. The only reason I can think of why a child is not on the census from a very young age is that something was medically wrong with him and he was sent away to a home or school somewhere else. Another "very" odd fact is that on the 1910 census, Maggie is listed as wife. Maggie died in 1904. I have a photo of her headstone, and I have a copy of her obituary. I am sure this is the correct family on both census years. 7349	Mrs. Maggie Hill Mrs. Maggie Hill, wife of W.C. Hill residing northwest of town, died of consumption on Sunday, July 31, 1904, aged 32 years. She was a member of the Christian church and a woman of many good qualities, helpful, sympathetic and useful, and in her long affliction was one of the most patient of surrerers. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.T. McClellan, and besides the husband, leaves six children to mourn her untimely death. Information about Oliver and his family is correct, but relationship to this William McClellan is speculation. It is possible that he was a very much younger brother to this William McClellan.
