EUGENE C. KIDWELL PASSES AWAY
Eugene C. Kidwell, son of Albert B. and Mollie Kidwell, was born May 15, 1878, on the farm where he died. He united with the Methodist church when a young man seventeen years of age. He was married to Miss Mackey Fry April 11, 1905, and departed this life December 31, 1914.
Mr. Kidwell had been an invalid for several years, but bore his sufferings without a murmur. He had been a farmer almost all his life, but when his health began to fail he came to town and engaged in the livery business for a time. But as he steadily grew worse he was forced to give this business up also and went to the Kidwell farm where he remained until his death. He leaves a wife and three sweet little girls. Alcesta, Dorothy and Gertrude. His mother also survives, with one brother, Lewis and one sister Mrs. Frank Hamilton. His father having preceded him to the grave some three years ago. Besides being a member of the Methodist church Mr. Kidwell was a member of the Yeoman Lodge and also was insured in an old line company.
His funeral was preached by Rev. O. H. Phillips Friday morning at the Methodist church and the wasted, tired body was laid to rest in the Auxvasse cemetery to await the resurrection. | Eugene Campbell Kidwell
