Lois Anne Welsh, 72, of Auxvasse died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at her home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at Debo Funeral Chapel in Fulton with the Rev. John Foley officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until services Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Welsh was born Feb. 5, 1928, in St. Louis to Lester and Bess Watt Baetz.
She married Sherwood Craghead and was later married to Maurice Welsh, who survives.
Mrs. Welsh was a graduate of Fulton High School and a member of Grand Prairie Baptist Church of Auxvasse. She had worked at the shoe factory in Fulton during the 1950s and had worked at the Security Bank of Auxvasse for several years.
She owned Shan Anne Persians and raised and showed prize-winning Persian cats.
Other survivors include a son, Larry Craghead of Auxvasse.

Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery in Fulton. Mr. Baker was born on Grand Prairie, in Callaway county, and was engaged in farming for a number of years. He moved to Fulton in 1887 and had lived in that city since. He was married in 1883 to Nannie Susan Jolly, and they celebrated their golden wedding on September 13, of this year. Jesse R. "Tommy" Baker passsed away February 20, 2009 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He lived his entire life in Callaway County. He was born May 18, 1922 to the late Cornelias and Mary Elizabeth (Nichols) Baker. Jessie married Mary Rankin Fletcher on December 5, 1953 in Callaway County.
He served in World War II and was retired from Harbison Walker. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
His wife, Ranky, survives him at home. He is also survived by two sons, Dewayne Baker and Bobby Baker, both of Fulton; one daughter, Carol Martin, of Fulton; four granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild, all of Fulton. He was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Michael Baker and Steven McKinny, Jr., and one granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Baker.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with Rev. Walter Lockhart officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2009 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
