4104 Charles H. Frank, who was connected with grocery establishments in Fulton, part of the time as owner, for 50 years, died last week-end at the Callaway hospital. He was 70 years old. He had been in ill health for several years, and recently underwent an operation. Burial took place in Hillcrest cemetery. Mr. Frank was a life-long resident of Callaway county, and was a son of Jacob and Kathryn Frank, natives of Germany who came to Fulton when they were quite young. He was married in 1890 to Miss Emma Mary Weimeyer of Franklin county, who died in 1928. Two sons and two daughters survive. Charles Henry Frank

Doctor's statement on death certificate; Pelvic absess due to puerperal infection, pulmonay embulism sudden death. Returned from op. room in good condition. Delivered by family physician at Fulton, Mo. in Dec. 1935. Removal of right ovary and tubes.

4116 Jessie Margaret Craghead, 86, of Sutherland, Neb., and formerly of Greeley and North Platte, Neb., died Saturday, July 30, at the Sutherland Care Center in Sutherland.

She was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Brady to Evan E. and Jessie L. Jones Frates.

She moved with her family to Brule in 1928 and graduated from Brule High School in 1936.

On June 13, 1941, she married Elmer B. Craghead and they lived in Denver before moving to Greeley a year later.

She worked at Del Monte's Cannery while her husband was in the service. She also worked as a nurse's aide at the Greeley hospital, where she retired in 1972. She went to school to become an LPN but was unable to finish as illness prevented it. She moved to North Platte in 1984 where she resided until she went to the Sutherland Care Center in 2000.

Mrs. Craghead enjoyed working as a nurse's aide; embroidering; playing cribbage, Canasta and rummy; and traveling with her friends.

Survivors are a son, Earl E. and wife Tena Craghead of North Platte; a brother, Norman Frates of Brule; four grandchildren, Patricia and husband Roger Brackett of Maxwell; Jodi Craghead and Lori Post of Salt Lake City, E. Shane and wife Brenda Craghead of North Platte and Melissa and husband Jeff Stryker of Bellevue, Neb.; six great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Leandra, Ryan, Cheyenne, Tucker and Colten; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, a sister, Marjorie A. Lookabill, and daughter-in-law, Sheryl Craghead, are deceased.

A memorial has been established in her name. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Adams and Swanson Chapel in North Platte, Neb. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home.

She was born August 13, 1913, to the late John Cleveland & Claudia Mae Freeman.
She was married to Harold Hardin Wright. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ann Dodd of Fulton; and one grandson, Matthew W. Dodd of Fulton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Rev. Ray Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends on Monday evening, Jan. 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church Radio Ministry.

Mrs. Pearl Dudley, 25 years old, wife of Arthur L. Dudley, of Calwood, died at the family home, Tuesday morning, after a two weeks' illness with typhoid fever.

Mrs. Dudley was born two miles east of Fulton and was a daughter of the late Godfrey Freiberger. She was married about three years ago to Arthur Dudley, and besides her husband, is survived by on daughter, Hazel. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Rosa Freiberger, one brother, Benjamin Freiberger, teacher of the Garden Prairie school, and four sisters, Mrs. C.F. Tincher and Mrs. Emma Dudley, of Fulton, Mrs. Rosa Breid, of Union, and Mrs. Lillie Dunn, of Carthage.

Funeral services were held at the Fulton Presbyterian church at 2:00 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. Dr. Eugene F. Abbott, officiating. Burial was in the new cemetery.

Mrs. Dudley was an aexcellent young woman and was justly popular with her acquaintances. She was a consistent Christian and lived an exemplary life. Many friends grieve with her family because of her death.

4136 BOND: Bond for the Estate of Elizabeth Dulin
Know all Men by these Presents, That We William Dulin, Edward Dulin, William Donaldson and Daniel Mills are held and firmly bound to John West, John Carlyle, Henry Gunnell and William Adams Gent. Justices of the Court of Fairfax County, now fitting, in the Sum of one thousand pounds current money. To the Payment whereof well and truly to be made to the said Justices, and their Successors, we bind ourselves, and each of us, our each of our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents.. Seales with our Seals, this twenty first Day of October in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty and in the XXXXIVth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George the Second.
The Condition of this Obligation is such, That if the above-bound William and Edward Admin. of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of Elizabeth Dulin Deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased, which have , or shall come to Hands, Possession or Knowledge of them the said William and Edward or into the Hands, or Possession of any other Person or Persons, for them and the same so made, do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited into the County Court of Fairfax at such Time as they shall be thereunto required by the said Court: and Credits of the said Deceased, at the Time of her Death, which at any Time after shall come to the Hands, or Possession of the said William and Edward or into the Hands and Possession of any other Person or persons for them do well and truky administer according to Law: And further do make a just and true Account of their Actings and Doings therein, when thereto required by the said Court; and all the Rest and Residue of the said Goods, Chattels, and Credits which shall be found remaining upon the said Administrators Account, the same being first examined and allowed by the Justices of the Court for the Time being, shall deliver and pay unto such Person or Persons respectively, as the said Justices by their Order, or Judgment, shall direct, pursuant to the Laws in that Case made and provided: and if it shall hereafter appear, that any Last Will and Testament was made by the said Deceased, and the Executors therein named, do exhibited the same into the said William and Edward being thereunto required, do render and deliver up their Letters of Administration, Approbation of such Testament being first had and made in the said Court: Then the Obligation to be void and of none Effect, or to remain in full Force and Virtue.

She lived in the Fike Trailer court, Fulton, Missouri, at the time of her death. She had lived there 2 years. She died at home. Mrs. Leonard S. Pugh of Fulton gave the information for her death certificate.

Dorothy Maude Herring, 84, of Fulton, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at the Fulton Manor Care Center.
She was born Sept. 17, 1919 to the late Lewis H. and Ada Maude (Dunn) Furlong. On Jan. 27, 1941, she married Frank Herring. He preceeded her in death on Dec. 28, 1996.
Survivors include a son, Otis Bertman Herring of Franklin Tenn., two daughters, Cookie L. Garrett of Chicago, and Brenda K. Herring of Roselle, Ill.; five grandchildren, Bryan Garrett of Chicago, Douglas Herring of Joplin, Pam Chesser of Pensacola, Fla., Jenny Brickman and Hope Lambert Farrow, both of Franklin, Tenn.,; five great-grandchildren, Christopher Herring, Will Chesser, Ariel Lambert, Sebastian Brickman, Tyler Brickman, and Nikki Herring.
She also was preceeded in death by a sister and a brother.
Mrs. Herring worked as a nurse at Kingdom Nursing Home for 10 years and later at Fulton State Hospital for more than 10 years before she retired. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Rev. Raymond Dunlap officiating. Burial is in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Missouri River Hospice.
