On the death certificate in 1919, Mrs. Jane Davis gave the information for his death certificate. I haven't found any other John William Davis that fits for this person, so I'm not sure where he was in 1910 or why his wife was listed as a widow unless the person who died in 1919 is not him. But it really doesn't make any sense.... I hope to find their headstones in Hillcrest soon, maybe that will answer the question.	John William Davis

3027	Leila Virginia Muzzy, 94, Fulton, died Feb. 21, 2003, at Lenoir Health Care Center, Columbia. She was born June 21, 1908, in Mercer, Tenn., a daughter of Eugene and Lela Mercer Davis. She was married June 11, 1933, in Mercer, to Lee Wilby Muzzy, who died Feb. 28, 1981. She graduated from Union University, Jackson, Tenn. She did graduate dietitian work at Reese Hospital, Chicago. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fulton. Survivors include: one son, Richard Muzzy, Columbia; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One daughter, Barbara Lee Muzzy, preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. John Barden will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service. I have no other information on daughter Nancy Davis Allen except the obit: Callaway Weekly Gazette Aug. 2, 1878 Died Allen - in Kansas City, Mo., on Friday, the 21st. inst., Mrs. Nancy Allen, late of Lincoln, Neb., in the 70th year of her age. On the first of March last, the deceased was stricken down with paralysis, since when; until death ended her sufferings, she has lain upon a bed from which her relatives and friends knew she would never arise. Through her long life she had been a true Christian woman, and for many years a devoted mother to her fatherless children. Mrs. Allen had many relatives and friends in this county. She was the sister of R.J. Davis who lives a few miles south of town. She emigrated to this county in 1829 with her father, Matthew Davis, who settled on the farm south of town, known as the Collier Farm.	Matthew Davis
