She was divorced from Vernon Simco. He remarried a long time before she died.
on Jan. 10, 1911, Lucy E. Corless had a baby girl, Velma Pearl Simcoe. The father was listed as a Sam Johnson. The baby died 8 days later of a tumor on her kidney. The doctor was Reuben Sims Simcoe. On the 1910 census, Reuben S. Simco is no longer practicing medicine and is retired and farming. The death certificate definately gives the baby the last name of Simcoe. I cannot find any record of a Sam Johnson on a census. Vernon and Lucy divorced after 1920. The baby was buried at Unity Church. They were all living in Calwood.
She was a daughter of Cornelius Corless and Mary Jane Godair. She lived at 719 Vine Street, Fulton, Missouri, she died at home. Mrs. Martha Hornung of Fulton, gave the information for her death certificate. | Lucy Ethel Corless

I cannot find them in 1920. In about February of 1920, they moved to Oklahoma, at that time they had 7 children, 5 boys and 2 girls. Pneumonia Claimed Two of Family
Miss Alta Craghead, 22 years old, living five miles east of Fulton, died of pneumonia at midnight Saturday night after being sick with the disease about a week. Miss Craghead's father, P.N. Craghead, died December 28, last, of the same diesease, and her brother Earl has been dangerously ill with it for some days. Only one sister of the family, consisting of a mother and seven children, was able to attend the funeral Monday.
Miss Craghead was born in this county on October 8, 1888. At the age of 16 years she united with Unity Baptist church, where her funeral was preached Monday afternoon by Rev. R.F. Davis of Fulton. Burial was in the church cemetery. Besides her mother she leaves four sisters and three brothers to mourn her death. She was well liked in the neighborhood in which she lived. The many friends of the family deeply sympathize with them in their heavy affliction. | Alba C. Craghead Or Craighead

According to the Cra(i)ghead book, Alfred died early and left 2 or 3 children who lived with various families. The Cra(i)ghead researchers were not able to trace the children or even name them. Rex and Med Craghead's birth certificates named their parents which is how I connected him.
I am a bit confused about the above however, because their mother lived a long time and son Med lived either with her or very near her when she died in 1932. I don't know why the family could not be traced or why the Craighead book had no information about their mother. | Alfred Isaiah Craghead Or Craighead
