Seth Raymond Whitfield of Ashland, and Miss Rebevva Dixie Clatterbuck, of Guthrie, were married Saturday evening in Columbia, at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. R.S. Cunningham. The couple was attended by Dr. and Mrs. George Quinn of Ashland. Mrs. Quinn is a sister of the bride.
Mr, Whitfield is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Whitfield, of Ashland, and served with the American forces overseas. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Clatterbuck, a prominent family of the Guthrie neighborhood. Mr. Clatterbuck is cashier of the Guthrie bank.

More than 200 Attend Herring Golden Anniversary Celebration
More than 200 guests attended a golden anniversary reception honoring Mr. and Mrs. Obie Herring sunday afternoon at the Fellowship Hall of the First Christian Church.
Hosts were the Herring children, Mrs. E.A. Dick, Mrs. James Farmer and Mrs. Edward Detwieler, St Joseph; Frank and Charles Herring. Mrs. Dick had charge of arrangements and also baked and decorated a wedding cake for the occasion with the assistance of Mrs. Ruth Morris.
The Herring granddaughters, Mrs. Loyd Sims and Mrs. Bob Morris served at the refreshment table. The Misses Brenda Herring and Kathy Farmer had charge of the gift table.
Other family members attending were Mr. and Mrs. Evert Menefee, Loyd Sims and children, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Morris, Mr. Detwisler and daughters, Mr. Farmer and children, Mr. Dick and son, Miss Brenda Herring and Mrs. Charles Herring and son.

O.F. Davis Married.
O.F. Davis, of St. Louis, only son of Mrs. William H. Davis, of this city, was married in Chicago last Saturday to Mrs. Josephine Mathers, a charming widow of that city. Mr. Davis is an accountant for the Wabash railroad in St. Louis, and when he returned to his work Monday morning, he found his desk decked with wild flowers, the work of a few friends who had learned of his marriage.
Mr. Davis was born and reared in Fulton, but has spent a number of years in St. Louis in railroad office work. His friends here extend congratulations on his marriage. | Family: F14349506

Rankin-Hill Nuptials
About sixty-fivre friends and relatives witnessed the wedding of Claude R. Rankin and Miss Alphie S. Hill, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Hill, three miles west of Fulton, Wednesday evening, February 19, 1908 at 6:00 o'clock. The wedding music was by Miss Ernia Nichols, and ther attendats were Walter McDaniels and Miss Laura Stephens. Rev. W.A. fite, Fulton, said the ceremony. After congratulations had been tendered, the wedding party sat down to sumptuous supper, prepared by the bride's mother, and at and drank to the health and long life of the bride and groom. Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Rankin and a few friends were given a reception at the home of the groom's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Wilkerson, west of Fulton.
Mr. Rankin is one of the thriftiest young farmers of Fulton township, high-minded and honorable, and every acquaintance is his well wisher.
