10057	Death of Warren W. Thomas. Warren Woodson Thomas, 73 years old, died last Thursday afternoon at his home in Market street, this city, of pneumonia. Mr. Thomas had not been in the best of health for several years, and his decline was rapid after being stricken with pneumonia several weeks ago. He was born near Fulton, August 5, 1839, and for many years was a farmer. He was married to Miss Nannie Yates Nichols, January 29, 1862, near Fulton, by the Rev. T.J. Marlow. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last January and his death occurred just one day after their fifty-first wedding anniversary. Mrs. Thomas, now in her sixty-ninth year, survives him. Ten children were born of the union, five of whom survive, as follows: Oscar Thomas, of Sedalia; Mrs. Samuel Breid, of Earl, and the Misses Minnie, Cora and Nannie May Thomas, of Fulton. He also leaves two brothers - Henry Thomas, of Fulton, and Wickliff Thomas, of Dallas, Tex. Mr. Thomas had been a member of the Christian church for fifty years, having united with the Ham's Prairie Christian church during the pastorate of the late Eld. D.M. Grandfield. Mr. Thomas was a resident of Fulton thirty years. The funeral was held at the family home Friday afternoon, the Rev. T.E. Winter, pastor of the Fulton Christian church, officiating, and burial occurred in the new cemetery. Mr. Thomas was an upright, honest citizen, esteemed by all who knew him, and his death removes one whose life had been well spent.	Warren Woodson Thomas

Her maiden name is speculation, based on being buried next to who I believe are her parents, Andrew Lewis Thompson and Drusilla B. Branstetter. Drusilla's parents were Finley Branstetter and Lucretia Goodman. Since Lucretia was not a common name in that area, and being buried next to a daughter of a Lucretia, it fits. Fulton Sun-Gazette October 13, 1927 Millard F. Thurston Appointed to Office Left Vacant by J.W. Smart's Resignation. Millard F. Thurston, of Fulton, was named city assessor by Mayor Charles M. Wilson, to succeed Jeff W. Smart, whose resignation was accepted at the meeting of the city council last week. Mr., Smart is now making his home in the state of Oregon. The new accessor, with County assessor Nick Hendrix, will start their work in Fulton the first of next month, and it was stated that it willl require from three to five weeks to finish. Mr. Thurston is well known in Fulton and Callaway County and his appointment will no doubt meet with the approval of all concerned. His parents were Charles Thurston and Martha Burnside of W. According to the Gibbs Family book: George Trammell was born in Virginia. When they were first married, they went to Virginia to live. He was an alcoholic and didn't support her and the children. After a few years, she moved back to Missouri. Her brother, William Henry Gibbs and some of her half-brothers helped her establish a home. She never divorced George. I have found no record that any of the children were actually born in Virginia. Various census and death certificate records all give Missouri. On the 1880 census, it specifically said that Elizabeth was divorced.	George W. Trammell
