William S. May, Nov. 19, 1838 - May 9, 1926. Mary Jane May, May 20, 1842 - Jul, 30, 1921. (her death certificate is dated 1921 not 1920 as is on headstone) William Ware Starkey May was a son of Gabrael May & Elizabeth P. Craighead, a grandson of Henry and Nancy May, and, Robert Maxey Craghead & Nancy Powell. He was my 2nd cousin 4 times removed. He married Mary Jane Kemp. She was a daughter of Andrew Louis Kemp & Martha Foster, a granddaughter of Walter Kemp & Jerusha Key. She was my 1st cousin 3 times removed.
