John Jay Rice, Sep. 22, 1842 - Dec. 15, 1920. Susan Emily Rice, Jan. 31 - 1852 - Dec. 22, 1917. John Jay Rice was a son of Nathan Lewis Rice and Cathrine Burch. On Dec. 17, 1874 in Fulton, Missouri, he married Susan Emily Hockaday. She was a daughter of Isaac O. Hockaday and Emily Mills.
