James N. Hook, Jan. 5, 1843 - Jan. 11, 1930. James Newland Hook was a son of William Henry Hook and Nancy Amanda Newland. On Feb. 20, 1869 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Elizabeth Jane Herring.
