Thomas C. Herring, July 29, 1857 - Jan. 28, 1931. Hattie Lee Herring, Nov. 9, 1863 - Apr. 24, 1930. Thomas Carver Herring was a son of John P. Herring and Amanda J. Knight. He was a grandson of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, William Knight and Eliza Hornbuckle. He was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. He married Hattie Lee Dunn. She was a daughter of General Dunn and Martha Vincent.
