James G. Roberts, 1828 - Sept. 3, 1897. Lucy A. Roberts, his wife, May 11, 1831 - Jan. 29, 1911. James G. Roberts was a son of Benjamin Roberts and Mary Ellen Gibbs, a grandson of John Julius Gibbs & catherine Herndon. He was my 3rd cousin 4 times removed. On Jan. 13, 1853 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Lucy Anne Berry. She was a daughter of Gibbs Head Berry and Harriett Jane Harrison, a granddaughter of Michael Berry and Lucy Gibbs. She was my 2nd cousin 4 times removed.
