Hampton, Thomas M., Mar. 12, 1898 - Jan. 7, 1970, Ruth G., Apr. 30, 1901 - Aug. 14, 1988. Thomas Monroe Hampton was a son of James & Ella Hampton. On May 7, 1919 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Ruth Gathright. She was a daughter of William Benjamin Gathright and Mary Francis Giboney, a granddaughter of John Thomas Gathright Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Davis, and, Peter M. Giboney and Nancy Herring. She was my 2nd cousin twice removed.
