Samuel C. Sparks, Aug. 13, 1891 - Jan. 14, 1977. Rosie I. Sparks, Jun. 14, 1896 - Mar. 2, 1987. Samuel Clinton Sparks was a son of Henry Clifford Sparks and Emily Catherine Davidson. He was a grandson of Samuel Sparks and Mary L. Walker, and, Thomas Davidson and Anna Harland. He was my 1st cousin twice removed. On Dec. 31, 1913 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Rosie I. Sanders. She was a daughter of James E. Sanders and Laura Whittington, a granddaughter of Rufus K. Sanders and Nancy Farmer, and, William Whittington and Susan Baldwin. She was my 4th cousin once removed.
