Samuel L. Blount, born May 25, 1850 died Apr. 16, 1913. Alice E. his wife, born Nov. 1, 1856 died May 9, 1935. Samuel L. Blount was a son of Capt. Samuel Blount and Sarah Smith. On Mar. 29, 1876 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Alice Emily Ecton. She was a daughter of Judson Ecton and Sarah Ann Galworth.
