John C. Criswell, died Feb. 21, 1902 aged 74 y 10 m 20 d. Elizabeth F. his wife, died Sep. 3, 1918 aged 84 yrs. John Calvin Criswell was born April 1, 1827 in Callaway Co., Missouri. He was a son of Robert Criswell and Nancy Evens, a grandson of James Criswell Sr. and Sarah Mackennon. On Feb. 10, 1853 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Elizabeth Francis Moore. She was born Sept. 21, 1835, a daughter of Bird Moore and Annie Green of Virginia.
