Merle N. Mirts, 1885 - 1967. Bertha B., 1886 - 1967. Merle Newton Mirts was a son of Reuben Taylor Mirts and Anna E. Gingrich. He was a grandson of Isaac Mirts and Lydia Sayder, and, David Jerome Gingrich and Ann Stoufer. He married Bertha Belle McIntosh in Callaway Co., Missouri on 24 Nov 1907. She was a daughter of Waller O. McIntosh and Alice A. Emmons, a granddaughter of Joseph Frank Emmons and Elizabeth Unknown.
