Alvin Tolliver West, 1886 - 1972. Althea Smart West, July 16, 1887 - Nov. 25, 1956. Alvin Toliver West was a son of Samuel Alvin West and Mary E. Craig. He was a grandson of James T. Craig & Martha Bell Carter, and, John Duval West & Elizabeth Newland. He was my 2nd cousin twice removed. He married Althea Smart. She was a daughter of George L. Smart & Annie S. Dixon.
