Joel Thomas Fisher, Born in Franklin Co., Virginia, Aug. 17, 1840 - May 8, 1921. Co. D. 2nd VA. CAV. C.S.A. Joel Thomas Fisher was a son of Samuel B. Fisher and Matilda Dearing. He married Mary Elizabeth Houf on Dec. 20, 1870 in Callaway Co., Missouri.
