Otie Silas Hook, Dec. 2, 1878 - Apr 24, 1969. Otie Silas Hook was a son of James Newland Hook and Elizabeth Jane Herring. He was a grandson of William Henry Hook and Nancy Newland, and, William Jerrod Herring and Rebecca Ann Knight. He was my 2nd cousin twice removed. He married Osmabel Oliver
