Obie Herring, Oct. 20, 1888 - Dec. 22, 1967. Pearl Herring, Nov. 1, 1894 - Feb. 26, 1975. Obie Herring was a son of Willis Dabney Herring and Lucy Emma Giboney. He was a grandson of George Washington Herring Sr. and Lucy Simco, and, Peter M. Giboney and Nancy Herring. He was my 1st cousin twice removed. On Nov 30, 1916 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Eva Pearl Menefee. She was a daughter of Charles Menefee and Emma Kate Neill.
